Mt. Diablo Co-op Preschool

Mt. Diablo Cooperative Preschool (MDCP) is a cooperative preschool committed to the emotional and social development of our children.

Our preschool is a place where a child learns through play, by exploring his/her environment alone and with a peer group.  Many challenging and stimulating experiences and opportunities are available; and here a child is free to explore and make choices of activities and friends.

Mt. Diablo Cooperative Preschool is open to all children approximately two and one half years of age through the pre-Kindergarten year.   Our facility is located on the premises of the Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church at 55 Eckley Lane in Walnut Creek, but we are not affiliated with the church.

Pre-Kindergarten children attend classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  Classes for the younger students meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Each class is limited to 24 participants.  An additional weekly afternoon class is offered for the older class one day a week.  This class is limited to ten participants and enrollment for this class takes place in late September.  The focus of this class is to provide an enriching educational experience in a small group environment.

Monday, Wednesday & Friday -- 9:15 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Tuesday & Thursday -- 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Afternoon -- 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
